Meet Audrey

Hi, my name is Audrey and I am a Registered clinical counsellor in British Columbia. I work with youth and adults who may be feeling overwhelmed by strong emotions, reacting in ways they don’t fully understand, or finding themselves in situations they didn’t intend—whether that involves substance use, conflict, or the justice system. I also support family members and loved ones trying to navigate these challenges. My approach is grounded in real connection and collaboration. We work together in an honest, human conversation—not from a distance. I take the time to understand your experience and the patterns behind it, so we can begin to shift what’s getting in the way. In our work, we focus on what feels overwhelming, stuck, or out of control—and start to make sense of it in a way that is relevant to your life. Together, we build practical skills for managing emotions, increasing tolerance to distressful situations, and improving relationships, adapted to you rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. I have spent a lot of time working alongside people impacted by the justice system, including the effects of stigma on different areas of life. My background in criminology helps me understand behaviour in context—not just as individual choices, but as part of a bigger picture. Most importantly, this is a space where you don’t need to be perfect or have things figured out. You don’t need to filter your story or present yourself in a certain way—you can come as you are. I believe change is possible when you feel understood, respected, and supported—and when the work we do actually fits your life. If this resonates with you, you are welcome to reach out.
